3 Hot Techniques To Create The Right Mindset & Manifest Your Dreams
Step One: Develop An Attitude of Gratitude
If you know much about manifesting good experiences and ‘The Secret’s’ idea of The Law of Attraction, you’ll be familiar with the idea that gratitude carries an attractive vibration. When we are in a state of gratitude, we hold a vibration that begins to attract to us more reasons to be grateful; therefore we attract higher, better, brighter, happier experiences in life.
As you work through the ‘Your Life Has Left You Clues Formula’ in your manual, be sure to turn your ‘G Ray’ on – your Gratitude Ray. Most people have had experiences that we consider to be negative. But every cloud has a silver lining. So when you happen to write some part of your life story that has made you depressed, sad, angry or hopeless – TURN YOUR G RAY ON.
Even if you don’t believe this experience has helped you grow and become a more compassionate person; even if you haven’t learned from the experience; even if you still feel raw emotion over what happened; can you shift your perspective to being grateful that you survived the experience :)? Can you begin to feel some glimmer of gratitude? Then look to something else that was happening in your life that you can be grateful for. Even if it is as simple as you got to eat some yummy chocolate that day; or a friend was there for you; or you wrote a journey entry that might be a best selling book one day; or something positive. Positive vibrations create positive experiences eventually. So TURN YOUR G RAY ON.
Step Two: Be Specific
Have you heard of the phrase, “The devil is in the detail”? Discover What You Are Here To Do takes a Soulful approach, so I would say, “Your Soul is in the detail”. In the minutest of detail, that you might think is irrelevant, is deeper meaning that your Soul has left clues in, as to what it is you were born for; and where meaning in your life can be found.
As you answer the questions in the ‘Your Life Has Left You Clues Formula’, detailing your life story, be specific. don’t just say you played sport. Write down what type of sport; the position you played; the activities around how and where you played; what you did when you played; if you wore certain clothing and so on.
If you answer with something like, “Sat around doing nothing all day”, be specific again. Where were you when you were doing nothing all day? What were you doing exactly? – Sitting on the couch watching TV? What programs? What were you thinking at the time? What did you do in between? You had to get up to go to the bathroom or eat at some stage right? Be specific.
Step Three: Get Excited!
Getting excited about the possibility of connecting to your Soul and your Higher Purpose – what it is you have come here to do; does two things for you.
- You raise your vibration when you get excited. The higher your vibration, the more positive your life experiences, and the happier you are.
- Your neural net in your brain begins to loosen. I didn’t go into too much detail on this in my book, it’s something I teach a lot about in Mission Blueprint, because you need to dislodge your neural net from its current belief system before you can adopt a new more positive belief; that in turn manifests a more positive experience. Getting excited is the first part of that dislodgement.
Get excited! If you don’t naturally feel excited, then, “Fake it till you make it”. Your subconscious mind isn’t going to know the difference. Neither is your brain. Jump up and down, do some exercise, think about all the great things that can begin to happen when you connect with your Soul – your Higher Self and it’s internal guidance system. Think about what life would be like living your passion and doing what it is you love to do. Think about the last time someone did something nice for you…
Here’s a YouTube clip of one of my favorite songs. I use to listen to this song as a child, and it would cheer me up, shaking loose my depression or gloomy mood. Sing along with this golden oldie from the sixties, with Petula Clark performing “Downtown”. Listen over and again until you feel a lift in your vibration – Now you’re ready to write your life story.
Oh and one last thing. Try this with me now if you life. Look up, all the way up, head tilted back – and smile! A trick my mother taught me.
